Led by the Aviation Cinemas team and backed by the 501(c)3 Oak Cliff Foundation, the Oak Cliff Film Festival launched in 2012 seeks to showcase the best of independent and brave filmmaking of all stripes. The festival takes place in the heart of the  Jefferson Blvd and the Bishop Arts District. Each year the festival takes on a theme that guides the programming of the four day event.
